Threat of Extinction (POTO Remix)Threat of Extinction (POTO Remix)

An absolutely huge EP from the UK's new techno wizkid G1 which features a POTO remix that showcases their highly in demand, unique sound. The solidity of the original is pounded in to a new shape and the bar is raised even higher.

Rose TintedRose Tinted

The debut release from POTO, featuring Rose Tinted and Do You Know, is a pair of electro-bass, shake ya ass, sing-a-long, dancefloor fillers. Both fuse infectious vocals and massive synth lines with ground breaking beats and bass.

Comments: Will play out 'Rose Tinted' (Martyn Hare Remix) and use in the next mix I am doing for Awdio.co.uk. Like the original nice old skool sound to it. Charting ‘Rose Tinted’ (Martyn Hare Remix) in January chart.

- DMC ESSENTIAL TECHNO REVIEW
Here's a name from that golden age of Stay Up Forever offshoots; Martyn Hare first hopped to prominence with some fearsome boomers a few years back, ending up making a huge name for the real hard stuff. Now he teams up with new electro face Paul Wheatcroft for a couple of belting, electronic cord-wanglers, starting with the singing cod and mangled rave riffs of 'Rose Tinted' [which Hare remixes in typically-pounding style], before 'Do You Know' ropes in breaks and vocoder action recalling some odd post-nuclear Kraftwerk mutant whose radioactive penis is seized by Jamie Ball and slashed with merciless, 90s-style minimal attack.
